The Minnesota Wild have acquired 30-year-old forward Michael McCarron from the Nashville Predators in exchange for a second-round draft pick. McCarron, a former first-round pick by the Montreal Canadiens, is in his ninth NHL season and has 5 goals and 7 assists in 59 games with the Predators this year.
