The program focuses on addressing practical barriers that can destabilize families, such as childcare disruptions or transportation issues, before they lead to more severe problems like eviction or food insecurity.
Why it matters

The details
The report shows that the share of participating families living below the federal poverty line fell from 66% to 35% while enrolled in the program. Additionally, 63% of participants who experienced unemployment returned to work, and 157 participants earned degrees, certificates or credentials tied to higher-paying jobs. The collaborative also reported that 73 households have exited at least one public benefit, and 55 households that entered the program with housing subsidies are no longer receiving them.
