Gate City senior Carter Wolfe capped off a terrific season on the links last year by capturing the VHSL Class 2 state championship, one year after falling just short. Wolfe's success, which included winning the Ridgefields Invitational and several high school tournaments, caught the eye of Radford University head coach Mike Grant, who has offered Wolfe a spot on the Radford golf team.
