The Carter County Imagination Library Board is hosting its 18th annual Educators Hall of Fame to honor outstanding educators and their contributions to students and the community. The public is invited to nominate teachers and educators who have made a lasting impact, with the four honorees to be announced at a celebration on April 9th. Nominations must be submitted by March 9th.

The details

The Educators Hall of Fame Celebration will take place on Thursday, April 9th at 6:30 pm at the Northeast Community Credit Union in Elizabethton, Tennessee. Two deceased educators (one from the city and one from the county) and two retired living educators (one from the city and one from the county) will be honored. The public can nominate educators who have had a significant impact on their lives or the lives of their students by filling out a nomination form and submitting it to the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library or mailing it to Summer Johnson by March 9th.
