The Austin Peay State University (APSU) softball team kept pace with the unanimous top-ranked Tennessee Lady Vols through four innings, but the Lady Vols scored eight unanswered runs across the final three frames to earn a 9-1, six-inning victory in the annual Mid-State Classic.
