Maury Regional Receives GM Car Seat Grant for 7th Straight Year

Grant will fund car seat safety education, inspections, and free seats for families in need

Maury Regional Health Care Foundation has been awarded the General Motors (GM) Car Seat Grant for the seventh consecutive year. The grant funding will strengthen the Community Car Seat Safety Initiative by supporting car seat safety education, inspections, and providing free car seats to families in need across Maury County and the surrounding region.

What’s next

The Maury Regional Health Care Foundation plans to use the latest GM grant to expand the Community Car Seat Safety Initiative to all of its service areas, including providing car seats to patients at Columbia Pediatrics, Lewisburg Pediatrics, Lewis Health Center, Maury Regional Medical Group Primary Care and Pediatrics, and a new practice opening in Lawrenceburg in Spring 2026. The Foundation is also partnering with the Pregnancy Center in Spring Hill and Columbia to increase access to safe car seats for families in need.
