The Austin Peay State University (APSU) lacrosse team overcame a 10-4 deficit midway through the second quarter to defeat Canisius 17-16 at Morgan Brothers Field in Clarksville, Tennessee. APSU outscored Canisius 7-2 in the third quarter and 10-5 in the second half to complete the comeback victory, their first-ever win at their home field.

Houttekier then scored the game-winning goal on a free position shot with 1:51 remaining to secure the 17-16 victory for APSU.
