The Austin Peay State University softball team is heading to Louisiana to compete in the three-day, five-game Carl Vincent Insurance Invitational this weekend. The Governors, who opened the season with three wins last weekend, will face Lamar, Illinois-Chicago, and host McNeese State during the tournament.

Kassie Stanfill
The eighth-year head coach and all-time winningest coach in Austin Peay State University softball history, Stanfill led the Governors to a record-tying 39 wins in 2025.
