Edwin 'Eddie' J. Powers, a 91-year-old resident of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, passed away on January 31, 2026 at the Sioux Falls Department of Veterans Affairs Hospice Cottages. A memorial service celebrating his life was held on February 7 at Renner Lutheran Church in Renner, and a private graveside service will be held at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Sioux Falls.
