Sanford Health Expands Black Hills Presence with 16 New Physicians

Sanford Health is expanding its healthcare coverage in South Dakota's Black Hills region by adding 16 new physicians to its Sanford Black Hills Medical Center campus in Rapid City. The new providers will specialize in gastroenterology, dermatology, optometry, ophthalmology, family medicine and general surgery, and are expected to start working this spring.

The details

The 16 new physicians will be based out of the Sanford Black Hills Medical Center campus in Rapid City. Formal notifications will be sent to patients before the new providers start seeing patients this spring. The expansion is made possible by a $300 million gift from Denny Sanford to establish the Sanford Black Hills campus in November.
