The Jamestown Jimmies Track & Field team had several strong performances at two weekend meets, the SDSU Classic in Brookings, South Dakota and the CSB/SJU Valentine's Day Open in Collegeville, Minnesota. The Jimmie women saw top-three finishes from Greta Goven in the 800 meters and Madalyn Neumann in the high jump, while the men were led by Ethan Duval's fourth-place finish in the high jump and a pair of fourth-place showings from Liam Horner and Riley Johnson in the high jump.

The details
At the SDSU Classic, Greta Goven ran a season-best time of 2:21.51 to finish third in the women's 800 meters, while Lydia Franson placed seventh in the 5000 meters. In Collegeville, Madalyn Neumann leapt a personal-best 1.56 meters to take third in the high jump, and Cambrie Fischer and Sydney Ulrich both placed in the triple jump, with Fischer fourth and Ulrich sixth. Ulrich also finished eighth in the long jump. On the men's side, Ethan Duval cleared 2.00 meters to finish fourth in the high jump at Brookings, and Ashton Judge was fifth in the long jump. At the CSB/SJU meet, Liam Horner and Riley Johnson both cleared 1.88 meters to share fourth place in the high jump, with Horner's leap being a personal best.
