Northern State University Hosts Agriculture Business Symposium

Northern State University is hosting a free student symposium on April 7, 2026 called "Growing the Future: A Student Symposium on Agribusiness." The event is open to high school and college students interested in agriculture and agribusiness, and will feature presentations from industry leaders, a student panel, and university faculty.

The symposium will take place from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Centennial Rooms of the Student Center at Northern State University. Presenters will include representatives from Wells Lamont Company, an agricultural business partners panel, Dr. Matt Roberts speaking on "The Truth About Trade," and Brian Hefty of Ag PhD and Hefty Seed Company. Lunch will be provided, and space is limited so early registration is encouraged.
