The annual Hub City Hog Fest barbecue competition and festival has returned to downtown Spartanburg, South Carolina. The two-day event features dozens of teams competing for the title of best barbecue, as well as live music, food and drink vendors, and free admission during the day on Friday. Proceeds from the festival benefit Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, which provides meals to over 1,500 people in the county.

Festivalgoers can purchase wristbands for $5 to access the event after 5 p.m. on Friday and all day Saturday, with free admission available from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday. Samples from the competition teams will be available on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
