Covenant Track And Field Sets Six Records At Centre Indoor Invite

Covenant College track and field teams had a standout performance at the Centre Indoor Invite and Multis, setting six program records across both the men's and women's events. Highlights included new school records in the 800m, 3000m, and distance medley relay for the women, as well as the mile and 3000m for the men. On the women's side, freshman Lucie Demers set the 800m program record with a time of 2:22.24, while Evangelia Berry added a new 3000m record of 10:42.99. The women's distance medley relay team of Sarah Vannoy, Sophia Velleco, Demers, and Berry also set a new program best of 12:48.13. For the men, Chandler Lines broke his own indoor mile record with a time of 4:30.53, and Ethan Saiki set a new 3000m mark of 8:53.03. The men's distance medley relay squad of Saiki, Connor Moffat, Lines, and Alex Burns combined for a record-setting time of 11:01.21.
