Tavaras Seibles, a senior at Eau Claire High School in Columbia, South Carolina, has been named the News19 Player of the Week. Seibles is in the middle of the basketball season but is also receiving interest to continue his football career at the next level. As a starting post player for the Eau Claire Shamrocks, Seibles helped lead his team to a first-round playoff win, much to the delight of the school's alumni.
