Manker was nominated for the award in recognition of the exceptional care she provides to patients. The award was made possible through a special gift from Novant Health Foundation Chief Philanthropy Officer Nancy McInroy, in memory of her friend and neighbor who received care at Novant Health Hilton Head Medical Center and formed a special bond with Manker.
