BAE Systems Wins $195 Million Contract for 30 More Amphibious Combat Vehicles

BAE Systems has received a $195 million contract from the U.S. Marine Corps to produce an additional 30 Amphibious Combat Vehicles (ACVs), bringing the total number of ACV-30s ordered to over 150. The ACV-30 is equipped with a 30mm cannon and provides enhanced firepower and capabilities for engaging enemy targets at a distance.

The ACV is a next-generation platform designed to improve mobility, survivability and adaptability for the Marine Corps in amphibious operations. This latest contract allows BAE Systems to continue delivering cutting-edge defense solutions that support mission success.
The details
In addition to the ACV-30 variant, BAE Systems is also under contract for the ACV-Personnel (ACV-P) and ACV-Command (ACV-C) variants. The ACV-P can carry 13 combat-loaded Marines plus three crew, while the ACV-C provides multiple workstations for Marines to maintain and manage situational awareness. BAE Systems has also built and delivered three ACV-Rec Recovery (ACV-R) variant Production Representative Test vehicles, which include a crane integrated by the government for field-level maintenance, recovery and repair capabilities.
