ROMERO & JULIET, a new zombie rock musical, will debut this Friday the 13th. The production reimagines Shakespeare's classic story in Verona, Pennsylvania during a 1980s music festival called Deadstock. The original score channels the sound of 1980s pop artists like Madonna, Bon Jovi, and George Michael.
Why it matters

The production features zombie makeup effects designed by Christopher Patrick, with a creative team that includes scenic designer Tony Ferrieri, lighting designer Andrew David Ostrowski, costume designer Kimberly Brown, and sound designer Bob Bollman. Musical direction will be provided by Ben Brosche and his five-piece rock band.
