The District 2 Wrestling Committee has released the preseeds for the upcoming District 2 Class 2A and 3A boys tournaments, as well as the girls tournament. Honesdale secured the most top seeds (five) in Class 2A, Pittston Area earned four No. 1 seeds in Class 3A, and Crestwood garnered three top seeds in the girls tournament.

Other No. 1 seeds in Class 2A include Hanover Area's Chase Smith (114) and Gregory Vassallo (172), Berwick's Carmen Malt (121), and Mid Valley's Matthew Almedina (139). In Class 3A, Pittston Area's top seeds are David Krantz (107), Ethan Aftewicz (152), Brody Spindler (215) and Noah Gruber (285). Hazleton Area also has three No. 1 seeds with Gabe Benyo (114), Jake Benyo (121) and Mason Marolo (189). On the girls' side, Crestwood's Rachel Shoemaker (118), Emma Selfe (136) and Alexis Richmond (148) earned top seeds, along with Western Wayne's Rheagan Wargo (100) and Mia Gifford (106), and Hazleton Area's Shaniece Brown (130) and Evelyn Sheer (235).
