Honesdale's Maddison Miller, Abington Heights' Hayden Manning, and Scranton Prep's Willow McDonnell each won their respective weight class titles at the Wyoming Valley West Girls Wrestling Tournament on Saturday. Miller went 3-0 with three first-period pins to capture the 148-pound title, Manning won the 155-pound class with one pin and two technical falls, and McDonnell took the 100-pound title with three pins and a decision. Elsewhere, Wallenpaupack's Sophia Yancewicz and Mya Statile placed third at the Battle of the Buck tournament.

At the Wyoming Valley West tournament, Honesdale placed ninth out of 19 teams, with Leonora Orellana Anton (155) taking third and Leah Klinkiewicz (118) finishing fourth. Abington Heights finished 10th, led by Hayden Manning's 155-pound title and Zoey Hearst's third-place finish at 118 pounds. Scranton Prep's Willow McDonnell was the lone wrestler for her team, winning the 100-pound class. Valley View's Taylor Shaheen (130) placed second, and Amsi Garriga-Diaz (142) was fifth. Mid Valley's Ava Pezanowski (148) took fourth, and Ashlyn Bradshaw (136) was sixth. West Scranton's Jocelyn Suhow Sanchez (118) finished fifth. At the Battle of the Buck tournament, Wallenpaupack's Sophia Yancewicz (100) and Mya Statile (170) each placed third, and Rosa SanClementi (106) secured her 50th career victory while finishing fifth.
