This 1971 Dodge Demon has been extensively modified with a 476ci Mopar R3 V8 engine capable of producing up to 865 horsepower. The car features a host of performance upgrades, a custom purple paint job, and pro-street styling cues like a scooped fiberglass hood, side-exit exhaust, and Billet Champion wheels. The Demon is now heading to auction after being purchased on Bring a Trailer in 2025.

The details
The 476ci Mopar R3 V8 engine has been enhanced with a Comp Cams custom camshaft, CFE Racing Products cylinder heads, T&D Machine roller rockers, and a Holley 1,150-cfm carburetor. The engine is paired with a Coan Engineering-modified 727 three-speed automatic transmission and a Strange Engineering 9-inch rear end with a Detroit Locker limited-slip differential. The chassis has been upgraded with a Reilly MotorSports AlterKtion K-member, Street-Lynx rear suspension, and Wilwood disc brakes. Exterior modifications include a scooped fiberglass hood, Demon 476 badging, and a side-exit dual exhaust system.
