The Atlanta Falcons have acquired safety Sydney Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles in an exchange of draft picks. The Eagles will receive the Falcons' fourth-round (No. 114) and sixth-round (No. 197) picks, while the Falcons will receive the Eagles' fourth-round (No. 122) and sixth-round (No. 215) picks.

The details
Sydney Brown, who turned 26 on the day of the trade, was a third-round pick by the Eagles in 2023. He played in all 17 games last season, making three starts, and recorded 34 tackles. Over his three-year career, Brown has 86 tackles, two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), and two forced fumbles in 42 games (nine starts). The Eagles were able to make Brown expendable after re-signing safety Marcus Epps and signing former Pro Bowl safety J.T. Gray to one-year deals.
