LA Galaxy Sign Jakob Glesnes to Contract Extension

The LA Galaxy have signed defender Jakob Glesnes to a contract extension that will keep him with the club through the 2028-29 season. Glesnes, who was named the 2022 MLS Defender of the Year, was acquired by the Galaxy from the Philadelphia Union in December 2025 for up to $2.2 million in General Allocation Money.
