The Salute to Independence Semiquincentennial Parade will also see changes, with an expanded route starting at 5th and Chestnut Streets, passing Independence Hall, continuing down Market Street, circling City Hall, and traveling along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway around Logan Circle before returning to City Hall on Market Street. The parade will include 50 marching bands, 13 floats, military elements, special units, and historical elements.
