Grayson Anthony McCoy, a 9-year-old third grader at Hancock Elementary School in Norristown, Pennsylvania, was recently honored with a Steward for Tomorrow Youth Award from Keep Norristown Beautiful and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful for his exceptional commitment to community service and environmental stewardship.

The details
Over the past year, Grayson has collected over 800 pounds of litter through more than 30 cleanups along his adopted roads of West Freedly and West Warren Street. He has also volunteered his time to help build rain barrels and operate an educational 'fishing for litter' game at a recent National Night Out event.
