UPMC Expands Access To Spine Care In Greensburg
New multi-disciplinary clinic co-located with UPMC GoHealth Urgent Care brings orthopaedic spine surgery, neurosurgery and pain management together in one location.

Greensburg residents will now have expanded access to high-quality UPMC spine care close to home, at a newly opened multi-disciplinary clinic, co-located with the UPMC GoHealth Urgent Care in Greensburg. The clinic is staffed with a team of three orthopaedic surgeons, a neurosurgeon and a pain medicine physician.
Why it matters
Providing increased access to world-class care by co-locating specialty clinics with urgent care access is one of many opportunities made possible through the UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care partnership. The new clinic enhances access and care coordination for patients with neck, back, arm or leg pain, as well as spinal disorders, pinched nerves, spinal stenosis and herniated discs.
The details
The clinic is staffed with a team of three orthopaedic surgeons, a neurosurgeon and a pain medicine physician who bring a breadth and depth of experience to treat a wide range of spine conditions. The providers include Steven Agabegi, M.D. (orthopaedic spine surgeon), Kathryn S. Hoes, M.D. (neurosurgeon), Jacob Shipley, M.D. (pain medicine physician), Vincent Silvaggio, M.D. (orthopaedic spine surgeon), and Patrick Smith, M.D. (orthopaedic spine surgeon).
