HGAC's annual Historic Barns Tour offers a chance to explore the region's architectural treasures in a serene, pastoral setting.Gettysburg TodayHistoric Gettysburg Adams County (HGAC) has announced its lineup of events and programs for 2026, including the reopening of the Architectural Salvage Warehouse, the Educational Speaker Series, Family Day at the Spangler Farm, Underground Railroad tours, a BarnArt Show & Sale, and the annual Historic Barns Tour.

The details
The Architectural Salvage Warehouse will open for the season on April 4, operating on the first and third Saturdays of the month through October. The HGAC Educational Speaker Series kicks off on April 16 with a talk on the Civil War's greatest sea battle. On May 9, HGAC volunteers will participate in the Gettysburg Foundation's Family Day event at the Spangler Farm. The McAllister Mill Underground Railroad Tour runs every Saturday from May through August. The BarnArt Show & Sale takes place June 12-14, and the annual Historic Barns Tour is scheduled for September 19.
