North Schuylkill Honors February Students of the Month
Seven elementary and four high school students recognized for embodying various positive qualities

The North Schuylkill School District has announced its Students of the Month for February. On the elementary side, seven students were honored for qualities like being a self-starter, positive, ambitious, resourceful, a team player, authentic, and a natural leader. At the high school, two 7th graders, a 9th grader, and a 12th grader were also recognized.
Why it matters
Recognizing students who demonstrate positive character traits and leadership skills helps reinforce the school district's values, inspires other students, and celebrates the accomplishments of young people in the community.

The elementary students honored were Emma Miller, Owen Kowalick, Kendle Goepfert, Kennedy Russamano, Ruben Zapata Cruz, Victor Oquendo, and Alice Kowalick. The high school students recognized were 7th graders Maycee Place and Brooklyn McGurl, 9th grader Braiden Davis, and 12th grader Peter Schachte.
