Geisinger, in collaboration with Allied Services Integrated Health System, has initiated its triennial Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to better understand the health and well-being of residents in the region. The CHNA will provide Geisinger with a comprehensive snapshot of key health challenges affecting the community by leveraging data from various reliable sources and gathering information directly from people in the area.

The CHNA is an important tool for healthcare providers like Geisinger to identify pressing community health needs and allocate resources accordingly. By conducting this assessment every three years, Geisinger can track trends, measure progress, and ensure its programs and services are effectively meeting the evolving needs of the local population.

The CHNA will collect information from a variety of reliable sources, including the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, and the U.S. Census. This data will be combined with direct feedback from community members to provide Geisinger with a holistic understanding of the region's health landscape and the specific challenges residents face.
