PennDOT has announced a series of major road projects and lane closures across Delaware County, Pennsylvania, set to take place in the coming weeks. The most significant work includes the start of a $63.4 million project to replace the U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway) bridge over the CSX Railroad and improve a 1-mile section of the highway, as well as multiple nighttime lane closures on Interstate 476 (the Blue Route) for loop detector installations.

The details

On the Blue Route (I-476), PennDOT will be conducting a series of overnight lane closures from April 6-10 for loop detector installation work. These closures will impact northbound and southbound lanes, as well as ramps from U.S. 30 and U.S. 1.
