The Oregon Ducks have received five commitments for their 2027 recruiting class, including three offensive players and two defensive players. The class is headlined by four-star running back Cadarius McMiller and four-star defensive lineman Cam Pritchett, who the Ducks were able to land over offers from other top programs. The class also features several offensive line prospects, including three-star tackle Avery Michael and the son of Ducks legend Haloti Ngata, four-star athlete Sam Ngata.
Why it matters
Oregon is looking to build on its recent recruiting success and assemble a top-ranked class for 2027. The Ducks finished 3rd nationally in 2026 and are searching for their first ever #1 overall class. This 2027 group, while not highly ranked yet, features several under-the-radar prospects that could develop into stars in Eugene.
The details
The Ducks' 2027 class includes commitments from two offensive tackles - three-star Drew Fielder and three-star Avery Michael. They also landed four-star running back Cadarius McMiller from Texas, who rushed for nearly 1,000 yards and 17 TDs as a junior. On defense, Oregon secured a pledge from four-star DL Cam Pritchett, who had 55 tackles and 3 sacks as a junior. The Ducks also got a commitment from four-star athlete Sam Ngata, the son of former Oregon star Haloti Ngata.
