2027 4-star offensive tackle Drew Fielder from Anaheim, California's Servite High School has committed to play college football at the University of Oregon. Fielder, the No. 292 overall prospect and No. 27 OT in the country, chose the Ducks over offers from schools like UCLA, Arizona State, Nebraska, Cal, and Michigan.
Why it matters
Oregon continues to build momentum on the recruiting trail, landing a highly-touted offensive line prospect in Fielder. The Ducks' 2027 class is now ranked No. 18 nationally and features three players in the Rivals300 rankings.
The details
Fielder, a 6-foot-6, 270-pound lineman, was on campus in Eugene for Oregon's second Junior Day this past weekend. He told Rivals' Greg Biggins that he "wasn't planning to commit" initially, but after seeing the program and hearing everything about Oregon, he knew it was where he wanted to play. Fielder is the fourth overall commitment in Oregon's 2027 class.
