A total of 25 organizations across Northeastern Oregon and Southeastern Washington received grants ranging from $2,000 to $30,000 for projects related to public health, public safety, arts, education, environmental protection, cultural activities, and salmon restoration.

The grants will fund projects such as emergency assistance for veterans, a new helicopter landing pad, cultural heritage preservation, historic building renovations, updated emergency radios, a police canine unit, vehicle replacements, cultural exchanges, educational programs, theater renovations, and composting equipment.
