The Rotary Club of Greater Bend will hold its annual Wine Raffle on March 13, 2026, at Aspen Hall in Bend. The raffle has been a club tradition for more than 20 years and is often referred to as an "instant wine cellar" because the prizes are awarded all at once. The drawing will feature a grand prize of more than 100 bottles of wine, as well as eight second prizes consisting of a case of wine each.

Why it matters

The Rotary Club of Greater Bend Foundation, established in 1994, provides financial support for scholarships, international projects, and youth activities, as well as specific community programs like the Latino Community Association and the J Bar J Anti-Trafficking project. The wine raffle is a major fundraiser for these important initiatives.

The details

Every member of the Rotary Club of Greater Bend is responsible for donating a bottle of wine to the drawing each spring. The grand prize winner in 2025 was Sharon Gueck, and other case winners included Bess Goggins, Carol Podwils, Sandy Corbari, Brad Bailey, Keith Otani, Natasha Henderson, Jeanie Dumont, and Mark Schang.
