The Powder Valley girls and boys basketball teams, as well as the Pine Eagle boys team, are competing in the district tournament this week at Baker High School. The winners, runners-up, and third-place teams will qualify for the 32-team state playoff bracket, while the eight highest-ranked non-qualifiers will also advance to the state playoffs.

For the girls, Powder Valley plays Joseph in a quarterfinal at 2 p.m. The Badgers won both regular season games against Joseph, 63-44 and 55-34.
