Baker County Students Win 'Say No To Vaping' Poster Contest

The Baker County Health Department has announced the winners of its third annual 'Say No To Vaping Poster Contest' for fifth and sixth grade students. The contest featured four categories, including vaping's effects on physical health, mental health, social and marketing pressures, and environmental impacts. First, second, and third place winners were selected for each category, and the four first place winners competed for the grand prize.

The details
Students were allowed to enter more than one poster this year, and their artwork will be featured at the Churchill School Art Gallery in Baker City during March. The grand prize winner received an additional $500 for their class, while the other first, second, and third place winners in each category received individual gift cards.
