At the Konawa meet, Parks had an impressive day, earning a 3rd place finish in the 800m with a time of 2:20.16, 5th in the 1600m at 5:39.58, and 1st in the 3200m with a time of 11:40.54. Teammate Remy placed 6th in the 800m at 2:26.58 and 4th in the 1600m at 5:36.07. Zach Moore also contributed a 4th place finish in shot put with a throw of 36'7'. The Dewar Middle School team had an equally strong showing at the Porter meet on Wednesday. Their 4x100m relay team of Smith, Johnson, Cantrell, and Murphy took 1st place, while the 4x200m relay team of Smith, Rock, Cantrell, and Murphy earned 3rd. In individual events, Harper Brooksher placed 2nd in the 100m hurdles and 4th in the 400m, while Timmy Cantrell was 3rd in the 100m hurdles. Brayden Murphy finished 4th in the 100m, and Kiondre Lewis placed 5th in the high jump.
