Michael Gryder, a Muscogee Nation member, selected for prestigious NYLF Law & CSI program at Georgetown University

This summer, Michael Gryder, a 15-year-old sophomore at Henryetta High School and member of the Muscogee Nation, will join outstanding students from across the nation to participate in the NYLF Law & CSI Youth Leadership Forum at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. The Envision by WorldStrides program enables students to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom.

The details

Michael was nominated for the program based on his strong academic performance, including his Pre-ACT scores and overall school achievements. At the forum, he will participate in mock trials based on real Supreme Court cases, as well as meet professionals in the law and forensic science fields. In addition to the NYLF program, Michael plans to enroll in concurrent enrollment courses this summer as he continues to prepare for college.
