The Oklahoman has opened voting for its winter boys sport athletes of the week poll for Feb. 2-8, presented by Landmark Fine Homes. The winner of last week's poll was Piedmont wrestler Braden Heath. This week's nominees include basketball players Beau Billingsley, Jamel Morris, Drew Reynolds, and TJ Newton, as well as swimmers Carter Carey, Owen McCall, and Thomas Gillenwater.

The Oklahoman's winter boys sport athletes of the week poll for Feb. 2-8 presented by Landmark Fine Homes is now live at oklahoman.com. Voting is open until noon on Sunday. Last week's winner was Piedmont wrestler Braden Heath, who earned 3,486 votes. This week's nominees include basketball players Beau Billingsley of Norman, Jamel Morris of Douglass, Drew Reynolds of Mustang, and TJ Newton of Edmond Santa Fe, as well as swimmers Carter Carey of Edmond Memorial, Owen McCall of Deer Creek, and Thomas Gillenwater of Casady.

Beau Billingsley
A senior basketball player for Norman High School who scored a game-high 28 points to lift the Tigers to a 56-31 win against district rival Southmoore.
Jamel Morris
A senior basketball player for Douglass High School who erupted for 34 points and 14 rebounds to push the Trojans to a win over On Point Academy.
Drew Reynolds
A senior basketball player for Mustang High School who drained seven 3-pointers and scored 24 points to guide the Broncos to their second straight defeat of Norman North.
TJ Newton
A sophomore basketball player for Edmond Santa Fe High School who scored 24 points while draining down six three-pointers to help the Wolves win their road Edlam matchup with Edmond Memorial.
Carter Carey
A junior swimmer for Edmond Memorial High School who won the 100 freestyle (48.56) and placed second in the 200 freestyle (1:47.72) to help the Bulldogs win a Class 6A regional championship.
