The Sequoyah County CCR/SART is hosting its annual Sexual Assault Awareness Glow Stick Walk on Thursday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sallisaw Sport Complex walking trail. The event aims to raise awareness for sexual assault victims and survivors, and participants are encouraged to bring their pets to walk with them. Free glow sticks will be provided, and the public is invited to also donate items to the Sallisaw Animal Shelter.
