At Lake Eufaula State Park and other locations, rising water and soggy conditions led to cancellations, including several scheduled egg hunts. Even the Easter Bunny had to adjust plans, missing some Saturday appearances due to standing water but still making special visits at select events throughout the weekend. Despite the weather, church and community events carried on, bringing people together in meaningful ways. Community Culture Church hosted Easter services for families and concluded with lakefront baptisms, where more than 10 individuals took part in the meaningful celebrations. The day continued with the church's annual helicopter egg drop at the Eufaula soccer fields, where over 10,000 eggs were dropped from above. On Saturday, Nine Marina ushered in the season with its annual Burning of the Socks celebration, drawing a crowd despite the damp conditions.
