A 39-year-old nail salon owner in Portsmouth, Ohio, Brandy Cottrell, was arrested on Monday in a major drug investigation that resulted in the seizure of over 200 grams of suspected narcotics. Cottrell, who had a prior drug-related arrest in 2011 but had largely stayed out of trouble since then, was charged with first-degree felony drug trafficking and second-degree felony drug possession.

The details

During the searches, they reportedly seized approximately 218 grams of suspected fentanyl and/or crack cocaine, as well as digital scales and other evidence consistent with drug trafficking. Cottrell was arrested and charged with first-degree felony drug trafficking and second-degree felony drug possession. She is currently being held in the Scioto County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
