Lake Erie College and Auburn Career Center are partnering to launch an on-campus College Credit Plus program starting in the 2026-2027 school year. The program will allow high school students to earn transferable college credits while continuing their hands-on career and technical education at the Auburn campus. The new program will be housed in the recently renovated Auburn Workforce and Innovation Center, with dedicated classrooms for college-level instruction.

The Lake Erie College at Auburn program will offer a slate of foundational college courses that meet Ohio's College Credit Plus requirements, including classes like College Writing I and II, Pre-Calculus I and II, Public Speaking, and General Psychology. Students will have flexibility to enroll in a single college course or take a fuller college schedule, with classes offered in 50-minute blocks twice per day.
