The Ohio women's track & field team had a successful final day at the Marshall Jewel City Invitational on Saturday, February 7th. The highlight was the women's 4x400m relay team breaking the indoor school record with a time of 3:49.29. Several other Bobcats also had strong individual performances, including a new meet record in the women's 800m.

The details
The 4x400m relay team of juniors Carly Irwin and Olivia Leo, sophomore Maddie Huckstep, and freshman Abby Nichols won the event with the new indoor school record time of 3:49.29. Irwin also had the fifth-fastest indoor 400m time in program history at 57.60. Senior Olivia Doughman won the 800m with a season-best time of 2:11.58, which set a new meet record and ranks fifth in Ohio history. Other top Bobcat finishers included junior Alana Smith in the 60m hurdles, sophomore throwers Paige Mader and Jada Cornathan, and seniors Olivia Mason and Abby Roth in the 3000m.
