Eight Notre Dame swimmers - five women and three men - competed at the Ohio State Winter Invite this past weekend, wrapping up their 2025-26 season. The group posted six best times, including wins by senior Gretchen Lueking in the 100 back and 200 IM, and sophomore Sailor Whowell in the 100 free.

Senior Gretchen Lueking had an impressive showing, winning the 100 back with a best time of 54.87 and the 200 IM in 2:04.38. Sophomore Sailor Whowell also posted two lifetime bests, winning the 100 free in 50.41. On the men's side, freshman Owen Tharrington had the best meet, setting new personal bests in the 100 back (48.87), 200 back (1:44.70), and 100 fly (49.38), winning the 200 back.
