Clinton Nature Center Hosts Spring Break Bird Camp

The Clinton Community Nature Center is partnering with the Jackson Audubon Society to offer a Spring Break Bird Camp for children ages 9 to 12 from March 9-13. The five-day camp will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily at the nature center, with activities including exploring the outdoors, learning to identify birds, building a bluebird nest box, and playing in the center's Play Forest.

The details
Campers will explore the outdoors while learning how to identify birds using field guides and binoculars. Participants will also build a bluebird nest box and take part in imaginative play in the center's Play Forest. The camp is led by Jackson Audubon Society educators, and includes free exploration time in the Play Forest at the beginning and end of each day.
- The five-day camp will run from March 9-13, 2026.
- Drop-off is available between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., and pickup is scheduled between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Families are encouraged to secure a spot and complete a registration form for each participant. An email with a detailed schedule, clothing recommendations and food information will be sent to registered families one week prior to camp.
