JetBlue Airways has announced the launch of a new daily service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE), as well as increased flight frequencies on nine existing routes from FLL. The expanded services are part of JetBlue's strategy to strengthen its network and connectivity in its South Florida focus city.
Why it matters
Fort Lauderdale was JetBlue's first destination, and the airline has been steadily growing its presence at FLL over the past year, increasing daily departures by nearly 32%. The new Cleveland route and added frequencies on popular routes will solidify JetBlue's position as the largest carrier at FLL, offering customers more choice, flexibility, and connectivity throughout the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean.
The details
The new Fort Lauderdale-Cleveland route will begin on July 8, 2026, with daily service. JetBlue is also increasing frequencies on nine existing routes from FLL to Atlanta, Aruba, Newark, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Norfolk, Philadelphia, St. Maarten, and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, starting July 9, 2026, except for Norfolk which begins July 8. Earlier this month, JetBlue announced expansions on four other routes from FLL to Jacksonville, Cartagena, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Tampa, set to start in June 2026.
