CLEVELAND, Ohio — We're slowly crawling into spring in Northeast Ohio and the local events are starting to celebrate being able to embrace above-freezing temperatures. The Towpath Trail Lantern Parade on Saturday evening will welcome spring with luminary art displays and attendees are encouraged to make and bring their own lanterns. The critically acclaimed novel 'Water For Elephants' comes to life on stage at Playhouse Square, kicking off its run next week. The Early November and Hellogoodbye's tour stop in Cleveland is in celebration of the 20-year anniversary of the bands' respective albums. West Park will be taken over by St. Patrick's Day-themed bar crawlers this weekend. Actor Michael Shannon and musician Jason Narducy are touring to celebrate 40 years of R.E.M.'s 'Life's Rich Pageant.' Comedian Jiaoying Summers will bring her viral comedy style to Hilarities on Thursday with the 'Lucky Pony 26' show.
