Edward Charles Flory Jr., known as "Coach Flory" to his students and colleagues, passed away on February 14, 2026, at the age of 83 in Seminole, Florida. Flory spent 28 and a half years as a health and physical education teacher at Hillside Junior High School in the Parma City School District, where he also served as an assistant principal and coached a variety of sports including football, basketball, and wrestling.
