The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed forward Riley Minix to a two-way contract. Minix, who previously held a two-way deal with the San Antonio Spurs, has impressed with the Cavs' G League affiliate, the Cleveland Charge, since being acquired in a trade on January 12. In 12 starts with the Charge this season, Minix has averaged 19.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting 55.6% from the field and 45.7% from three-point range.

Minix, a 6-foot-7, 230-pound forward, earned the call-up after a recent standout performance with the Charge, scoring 27 points on 60% three-point shooting in a win over Raptors 905 on Feb. 12. Over 42 career G League games, all as a starter, Minix has averaged 18.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists while shooting 51.9% from the field and 42.2% from three-point range.
